Pretty Paintings

Yep...thats our house...and thats acrylic paint! Bess & Trey say they were trying to make the house pretty. Does that mean they don't like the color OR we need to buy them paper? Hmm....
The second picture is the door to Bess' new room...she had to 'make it pretty' too!
Maybe one day they will be famous!

Grommi and Bess feeding the animals

These pictures are really dark but hopefully you can see so you too can enjoy them. Grommi and Bess walked over from their house to feed the animals apple peels. Hopefully you can make out the cowboy hat on Grommi's head! Looks like Hardaway has turned her into a true country girl!

Cheerio Peanut Butter Balls with Bess

When Bess got up from her nap she wanted to make Cheerio Peanut Butter Balls...so we did! At first she was being 'strong willed' and she did not want to help but then she got over her attitude and joined in the fun.

Note to self....

Every Sunday as we are getting ready for church, I let the kiddos pick out what they want to wear. This morning I tried to sell the new outfit with the puppies on it...and it worked! However, Royal Child MUST run small because this is a 4T and its way too short and as he put it "my belly is hangin out." Unfortunately, we were running late as usual and so it was too late to change. Oh well, he still looked as sweet as he is! I love you Trey Bay!

Dress Up time!

Bess and Trey absolutely LOVE to dress up. Last year for Christmas, I put together a cedar chest/trunk FULL of dress up clothes. I collected them from consignment sales and after Halloween sales (you know when they are 90% off.) Well, just about everyday they will open up their dress up trunk and take on a different identity. In these pictures Trey is a dragon from the movie "How to train your dragon" and Bess is a princess...in fact I think she said Cinderella!
They pull everything out because OF COURSE the outfit they want is on the bottom of the pile!

These are the "glass slippers" she chose to show off this time. (I promise I edited this picture to be viewed the right way but for some reason it keeps uploading the wrong way...oh well)

Cinderella posing for her picture

Cinderella trying to get her shoes on.

This dragon has GREEN hair!!

I don't know which is worse...the reverse mohawk haircut he gave himself or the green hair:)

At home with MR. MOM

This past week Miss Savannah has been under the weather. In fact, so under the weather that she has been in the hospital ALL week and boy did we ALL miss her!! Since she went into the hospital Saturday Oct. 2nd and was there until Thursday Oct. 7th, Richard had to play Mr. Mom. I know Monday they came to town to my library to visit their friend Dewey the snake and to check out books. As for the other days...I am not exactly sure what went on but I do have a few pictures I found on my camera.

In this picture Bess is dancing. She LOVES to turn up the music on the radio REAL loud and dance, dance, dance!!!

This picture is apparently what her hair looked like when she woke up one day this week:)

And again, BED HEAD!!
Oh, by the way, Miss Savannah will be back tomorrow morning...THANK GOODNESS! We love her so much and we missed her so much!!

Grommi's 64th Birthday!

Grommi's YUMMY carrot cake from Louisa's Bakery

Trey & Bess gave Grommi chairs for her new porch!

The kiddos put 10 candles in the cake...we are thinking it was their way of saying 6 + 4!

Grandaddy & Bess are singing "Happy Birthday"

Soccer on Saturdays...third game

Saturday morning was Trey's 3rd soccer game. Bess decided to dress as an Auburn cheerleader to cheer for Trey's team. We lost this game by 6 points (I think it was 6, I honestly quit counting) but Trey had a great time as always.

Bess going to draw with Grandaddy.

Yep...thats a BLUE mohawk and it is intentional! LOVE IT!!!

Check out Isabella's COOL tights!

Taylor did a GREAT job as goal keeper in fact if we could get a point for every ball he stopped we might have had a chance at winning the game!

Sweet Frankie!!!

Go Coach...cheer them on!

Its not the water she likes its the water cooler!

Bess is hanging out on the other team's bench:)
