All piled in Bess's twin bed

Richard laid down for a little rest before we have to hit the road for trick or treating in Georgia. You see the kids just had to climb in too. You can also see by the pictures which child likes to stay in just her diaper as long as possible. Needless to say Daddy isn't getting much rest and it didn't last long before Bess told him to get up!

Grommi and Grandaddy's NEW HOME with siding...as of October 30th

These are pictures I took yesterday (Oct 30, 2009) of their beautiful new home. Its getting closer and closer to move in time. We are so very excited to have them so close.
This is a view from the front door...look closely and you will see Richard's deer stand!
You can see the deer stand a little better in this picture! Looks like Grommi and Grandaddy may wake up one day to gun shots...hee hee!

View of the front of the house!

A view from the side of the porch. Where is our house from here? Well we are located to the far right of this picture!

A view of the back porch. The right window is the kitchen and then the door in the middle is from the foyer which goes the length of the house and then the left doors are off of the master bedroom.

A view of the side...with a side view of the back porch
A view of the side with the front porch on the fith and the door comes off of the craft room...I think!
The garage!

Dreamfield Farms...the Pumpkin Patch

We had a GREAT Sunday afternoon at Dreamfield Farms with the Rape's. We met there, which it is located in between Montgomery and Union Springs on Hwy 82, I like to say in Simsville. They have plenty of activities for the kids. There is the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, pig races, bouncy blowups, peddle tractor races, rubber ducky races, corn cribs (my favorite), cow train, corn field maze, hay bale climb, hay bale maze, many more and plenty of concessions. Last year was the first year they opened and I have to say they have definitely improved this year. We definitely enjoyed our pumpkin patch visit and our time well spent with Madison, Reagan, Brett, Jessica and Ms. Rachel. We will make our annual trip again next year.

Super Sweet Daddy and Babies

Not much to say accept I sure do LOVE this man and both of these beautiful babies! What a perfect family!!! Thanks you guys for making my life so complete!

My SUPER HERO XMAN...Just HAD to have the yellow costume!

Trey is all into costumes these days. Oh and don't call them outfits because he is quick to tell you they are COSTUMES! He loves them. It all started with the basic red and blue spiderman costume and then we took a trip to Walmart and he saw the Black Spider Man with muscles so of course I caved and bought it. While we were there he obviously saw the Yellow XMen costume and made a mental note because not 2 days later did he want the yellow costume. I caved AGAIN and bought that one but you have to admit dress up is oh so fun. I think since I was deprived as a child, yes mom I just told everyone you didn't buy us dress up clothes, I just LOVE giving my kids dress up. In fact as a Christmas gift...shhh don't tell the kids...they are getting a dress up trunk full of stuff I have been collecting. I just love the creative things they come up with.

Trey is flexing his big muscles!!

Losing more front porch...gaining a Little Girl Room

When we first found out I was pregnant with Bess we thought the kids would share a room. Well, that didn't work for long since their sleeping habits were SOOOO very different and still are. We finally made the decision and turned the left side (looking at the house) into Trey's bedroom and he LOVES it. Well now we are growing again...wait...not another baby just TOO many toys and stuff in general and I would like a play room. I would also like my den TV back...Dora, Diego, Olivia, Horton, Bee Movie, ect....can only be watched so many times and I would LOVE to watch the news every once in a while. So, we are turning what was once Richard's bachelor bedroom...long ago...anyone remember the plywood walls and the 2X4 homemade closet, I do...well we are turning that room into the playroom and moving Bess out into her own new room. In order to do so we are turning the other side of the porch into a bedroom and the following pictures show just that. I will say I was worried about losing all of my porch but I still have plenty to relax on! So far Jeff has only done a little, this is going to be a gradual project, but I wanted to share the progress. I think Bess will LOVE it!
Standing in Bess's room, note the front door to the left.
This is from inside her room and there is the bathroom window which will be removed and closed up.

Looking at the right side of her room.
Don't worry the grill WILL be removed!!!
Standing on the porch looking into her room.
There is her windown which I am sure Richard will put bars on so noone can sneak in or out..hee hee!!!

Bess the Nurse...fixing Daddy's Boo Boo

When Bess spots a Boo Boo on herself she wants a kiss but when she sees one on someone else she jumps into nurse mode and goes to searching for the bandaids. Here you see her attempting to patch up the many scratches on Daddy's leg. Lets hope this is only the beginning of her care taker skills!!!
