There is a deer in my bedroom!

Yep...you read that right! Our pet deer Bambi got out of her fence and when she does she comes to the front porch. When the kids find her on the front porch, they invite her in. So...right now I have a deer in my bedroom! Thank goodness she acts as if she's potty trained!

Wow...time flies and we have been having fun!

Since my last post we have been busy. Thanksgiving was very nice. Grommi and Grandaddy had everyone to their new house in Hardaway for lunch. Bess turned 3 on Dec.7th and she had a Dora the Explorer birthday party at Chick-fil-a. Christmas was wonderful and now its once again time for the end of one year and the beginning of another. I will return to work on Monday and Richard continues to work for himself. I do have LOTS of pictures to post when I get a little time to sit down at the computer and edit. I have to say that lately I have been busy with another blog. Most of you know my best friend Meredith, well on Christmas Eve she gave birth to Preston Wright Bishop. Although the birth of a child is wonderful, it can be scary since he was about 10-12 weeks early. We are not sure why Meredith went into labor but she did and Preston is now in the NICU at Baptist South. Please keep Meredith, Ken, Pierce, and Preston Bishop in your thoughts and prayers. If you get a chance and you want to check out the blog, the web address is: www.prestonbishop.blogspot.com
Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Back to bloggin soon!

Mr. Owl

Thomas, Trey, Bess and I were pulling up the driveway after our LONG trip to Birmingham and in the middle of the driveway we saw an owl. We stopped and I think he realized the middle of the road is not a good idea so we flew to a tree. Although we sat there for a little while, this is the best picture we got. Pretty cool!!

Day Trip to Birmingham to visit Uncle Chris, Aunt Jessie, and the McWane Center

Miss Savannah, Thomas, and I loaded up Nephew Trey (Miss Savannah's nephew), Trey and Bess for a day trip to Bham. We surprised Aunt Jessie at work and Uncle Chris was not at work so we had to spoil the surprise and text him that we were in Birmingham. We had a great visit with both and then we headed to the McWane Center for some fun! The kiddos enjoyed the McWane Center Exhibit Halls eventhough it is meant for children a little older. As you can see from our pictures, even the van ride to and from Birmingham was exciting!

Painting Class in Prattville

The Arts Council in Prattville offered a FREE painting class for children and so I signed us up! Bess and Trey enjoyed painting a penguin and meeting new friends.

Santa and Mrs. Claus come to East Chase

After our last soccer game we decided to go to East Chase Shopping Center for the Christmas Parade. It was small but the kiddos enjoyed it and thats all that matters!

Last Soccer Game

The last soccer game was a cold one! Everyone was all bundled up and ready to kick the ball! Our last game was against Andrew's team so needless to say we were cheering for all! Bess and Thomas cheered them on from the sidelines. If you listened closely you could hear several of the kids saying "when do we get the trophy?" During games in the past you heard them asking for snacks but this time they were all about the trophy!

Sweet Frankie has just learned to walk so he is exploring!

Thanksgiving Mass for Archbishop Lipscomb

We went to Mobile for the day to help the Archbishop celebrate 30 years. Our LONG day trip began lunch at Wintzell's, followed by Mass and then a little play time in the park where the kids made friends with a little girl named Lilly. On our walk back to the car, Charlie and I had fun looking for letters.

Bess took this picture of Charlie...for real...all I did was hold the lens so she would not drop it!

Such a sweet cousin to carry her!
