Thanksgiving Mass for Archbishop Lipscomb

We went to Mobile for the day to help the Archbishop celebrate 30 years. Our LONG day trip began lunch at Wintzell's, followed by Mass and then a little play time in the park where the kids made friends with a little girl named Lilly. On our walk back to the car, Charlie and I had fun looking for letters.

Bess took this picture of Charlie...for real...all I did was hold the lens so she would not drop it!

Such a sweet cousin to carry her!

This is my ABSTRACT "A"

And my ABSTRACT "S"

Frankie's FIRST Birthday

Frankie Hayner turned 1 year old and we had a GREAT time at the Birthday Party!

Our Southern Belle

Grommi and I found this Halloween costume at Walmart and we knew Bess just HAD to have it. At first she was not too excited about it because its a little long but now she puts it on every chance she gets. In fact, she just dug it out of the closet to put it on and show off to her cousin Charlie. Aunt Jessie says we are getting her ready for Old South:)

Trunk or Treat - Halloween Night

The kids dressed up for Halloween and we went 'Trunk or Treating" at church. Grommi and Grandaddy joined in the fun by dressing up and filling their trunk with treats.

Carving our pumpkins

I have to say I may be an artist BUT carving pumpkins is not for me...or at least this year! At first Trey wanted me to carve Swiper the Fox and then he decided on a bat (thank goodness.) As for Bess and her little bitty pumpkin, she went with the first letter of her name!

Dream Field Farms with The Bishop's

October 30, 2010 Richard, Trey, Bess, and I met Meredith, Ken, and Pierce at Dream Field Farms. We fed the animals, watched the pigs race, rode the cow train, buried each other in the corn crib (even filled Trey's pants with corn), picked a pumpkin from the patch, took family portraits, sang songs while on the hayride, raced rubber duckies, and posed for a picture on the tractor. I think I can speak for everyone and say we had a GREAT time...even the big kids!
