Picking Okra

We have a garden in Hardaway and in our garden we have okra, squash, cantalope, banana peppers, tomatoes, basil, thyme, grapes, blueberries, chives, watermelon, and bell peppers...I think thats it! This year we have had luck with some and others have been attacked by the bugs. This year we can say we have had okra coming out of our ears and the funny thing about it is that we don't eat them. Well I take that back, we eat fried okra but we don't COOK it. So needless to say we pick it and then either feed it to the goat, pig, or chickens, and honestly I cannot say that I have seen any of them eat it either!
Here you see the boys collecting okra in their shirts!
