Up an at em...why not blog!
Well its been a while but hopefully things are looking up and I will be back to blogging! School's out for summer...but only for about another week.
First of all, we have exciting news...I am pregnant! This is definitely a surprise but we are very excited. It is almost as if the "all day sickness" began as soon as I found out. I have spent the majority of my summer laid up in bed or running to the bathroom. Needless to say, phenagren holds a special place in my heart. My due date is February 5th however we know it will be closer to the end of January because not only will I be having a scheduled c-section but we all know I don't carry babies full term. I am currently 13 weeks, 14 on Sunday, and I am starting to feel a tiny bit better...should I knock on wood? With that said, I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I will be sure to share how things go.
Trey will start Kindergarten August 15th. I have to say this new chapter in Trey's life is bittersweet. I am sad to see him growing up but also thrilled to watch him grow into a little young man. I have been busy buying school supplies, getting uniforms together, ordering lunches and marking the calendar! Although Richard and I may be sad to see our oldest start school, Trey is ecstatic! He has been counting the days!
I on the other hand report back to work August 16th and the students first day is August 22nd. I am very excited about the school year because I really do enjoy my job! (I thought I would never get to say that...lets hope and pray this doesn't change)
Well, I best run...motherhood calls! You are possibly wondering why I am up and so I tell you the stomach bug hit Trey on Monday and now it decided to hit Bess at 2am Thursday...woohoo!

Busy busy...
Boy its been FOREVER since I have had a chance to post. Again, it takes time to sit (kid free) and upload pics or even be able to blog. Just to update...we are all doing great! Richard is staying busy with his new business, I am staying busy with school and the kiddos are ALWAYS busy! Its hard to believe Trey will be starting Kindergarten in August. Seems like yesterday I was bringing him home...but they do say "time flies when you're having fun!" My hip surgery went well and even though I only went to rehab once my recovery has been successful. I feel great! Bambi is still hanging around...we are hoping that buck we saw was visiting her for a reason:) Preston is FINALLY home which is wonderful! The Bishop's are enjoying that super sweet boy. Now that I have briefly updated, its time for bed...gotta busy day and weekend ahead.

One Monday evening in the Bosch home...
We sit down for dinner...a smorgasbord...as Trey tries to avoid his plate and continue playing the Wii. We forget the blessing but Bess reminds us immediately. When dinner is FINALLY finished, Trey returns to the Wii and Bess listens and dances to HER CD Daddy made her as she attempts to hold you hostage in her room. And now I have a moment to blog as they play in the tub and Daddy referees.

Bambi
This is Bambi...our pet deer who may very well think she is a dog! We love her! A little about her...well she is about 6 months old and she lives outside right around the house. So far we have figured out she likes to eat and she likes a wide variety of things. To name a few: apples, bananas(sometimes the peel)...just about any fruit, cabbage, graham crackers, goldfish crackers, and lettuce. I have to say, I NEVER saw me having a pet deer...and neither did Richard!
Cousin Jarred and Uncle Bob visit us in Hardaway!
We ALL enjoyed the visit from Cousin Jarred and Uncle Bob. They drove in from Michigan on a Tuesday and left on Saturday morning.
The kiddos LOVED spending time with family and so did the rest of us. We hated to see them leave and we hope to see them again soon but this time this Bosch family is heading to Michigan!
We LOVE ya'll!

Kids will say the FUNNIEST things
Okay so I have two funny stories about Trey.
First of all, we were riding home from Grandma's house the other night and out of nowhere Trey said "Daddy, when I get big can I go live with Uncle Chris in Birmigham? You know, when I become an adoot(thats Trey's word for adult)?" We thought this was so sweet! Trey LOVES his Uncle Chris.
Second, Miss Savannah took the kiddos to McDonald's after gymnastics the other day and Bess wanted more chicken nuggets, she wanted Bubba's nuggets. Miss Savannah told her she would buy her more nuggets but she could not have Bubba's. Well Bess got mad and said "No, me go slide!" Well when Bess left Trey and Miss Savannah to go slide sweet Trey looked at Miss Savannah and said "I am gonna have to talk to God and Mommy because I want a baby brother!" Miss Savannah then told him that Daddy has just a little to do with that request and so Trey then said "I am gonna talk to God, Mommy, and Daddy!"

Now for recovery...
Hip surgery went well. The pain is finally subsiding and I am feeling much better. However, if you asked me yesterday while I was trying to wake up out of anesthesia I would have told you that I should have never had the surgery. I have an appointment with Dr. Walcott Thursday January 20th so I will fill you all in on exactly what he did.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

We love your life Steve Irwin
These days Trey is so fascinated with Steve Irwin. I found a VHS tape at the thrift store, bought it, and now he LOVES watching it while hanging with Grommi and Grandaddy. Just the other day I shared my Steve Irwin biography written by his wife Terri and he was so excited that he ran all the way over to show Grandaddy. Maybe this kid will be a crocodile hunter...lets hope not...but then again you gotta let them follow their dreams.

Hip surgery anxiety...
Okay so I have decided to do it. Most of you know about 8 years ago I had a car accident. After the accident I all of a sudden developed this hip/pelvic/back/leg pain. Well, years ago I went to every kind of specialist possible and nothing was found. Just recently I decided to talk to my GP about the problem. He referred me to an orthopedic...the same one I saw years ago. I went to see Dr. Barrington and he had me get an MRI. Dr. Barrington reviewed the MRI and said there is nothing there causing a problem. He also insisted this is all back related. I was a little upset to hear him once again tell me that there is no reason for me to have hip pain. He then mentions me seeing a hip specialist in his group. The next day I have an appointment with Dr. Dexter Walcott. Dr. Walcott reviews the Xrays and the MRI to find there is a possible reason for my hip pain. Hooray...I finally have someone to prove I am not imagining the pain. He recommends hip arthroscopic surgery to check things out, do a little this and a little that to hopefully relieve the pain and help me hold off on hip replacement. Yep, you read that right...hip replacement.
So, with all that said and done, I am having the outpatient surgery Thursday January 13th. Apparently the actual surgery will take about 2 hours and then once I recover I will be on my way home. He said I may be on crutches anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.
Today I went to pre op and the whole thing started to sink in and I honestly have a little anxiety. I know I have had 2 c-sections but for some reason that seems like small potatoes. Anyways...wish me luck and I will "blog all about it" while I am home resting and recovering!

Please pray for sweet Preston Bishop
Most of you know one of my best friends, Meredith Boswell Bishop. Well, Christmas Eve she gave birth to sweet Preston Wright Bishop and he was only 28 weeks. He is currently in the NICU at Baptist South and he is doing well but please keep him as well as the entire Bishop family in your thoughts and prayers.
I have created a blog for Meredith and Ken in order to keep everyone up to date on Preston. You too can check it out at http://www.prestonbishop.blogspot.com/
